We took a collective breath yesterday when Derek Chauvin was held accountable for the death of George Floyd. Now, we recommit ourselves to the work that needs to be done to dismantle the entwined forces of the patriarchy and white supremacy and achieve a society in which equality is the reality, not the goal.
